**Summary**
This position requires an individual who is able to work in a busy environment, possesses solid communication skills, is detail oriented and very organized.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Needs to be able to execute all truck scheduling, deliveries, pickups and incoming freight.
+ Ensures proper allocation of trucking resources
+ Ensures most efficient and cost-effective transportation decisions.
+ Communicates effectively with Sales and Production, to fulfill all sales/shipping requirements. Including shipping delays and/or product rejection.
+ Helps to assist in processing of freight claims and communicates with accounting on returns
+ Gathers all info for outbound transfers for all warehouses
+ Schedules POs that are requested by purchasing to be picked up
+ Schedules trucks LTL and truck loads daily
+ Utilizes TMS system for automation of truck scheduling and tracking shipments and keeps track of excel reports for tracking shorts and on time delivers to customers.
**Education and/or Experience**
* 1-2 years of experience scheduling and routing drivers in the transportation industry.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail skills, strong multi-tasker.
* Must be organized.
