Schedule: Full Time, 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexible), Monday - Friday

What You Will Be Doing:

Provide functional guidance and serve as the lead in daily activities of the department.
Assist in the supervision of patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensure timely, accurate, and professional service.
Monitor workflow, quality, and performance and provide direction, guidance and oversight in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
Recognize improvement opportunities, help to implement solutions, and handle complex or unresolved issues.
Lead the team in assuring patient encounter is priority and at best interest.

What You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Requires 3 or more years of relevant experience in a health care setting.
  • Coding experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of Foundation of Leadership within 6 months of assuming role or Emerging Leaders program.
  • Requires CMAA certification. *Those in the Team Lead - Registration Specialist role at time of transition will be given priority to the certification Exam cohorts. They must successfully complete the certification exam (achieve certification) within one year of the on-set of career ladder implementation. Failure to achieve certification may result in a move to the appropriate Registration Specialist role with the potential of a pay decrease.
