This position will be on site at our facility located in: Cisco, TX

Position Summary: The Wellsite Supervisor is expected to coordinate and lead the work of crews at the well site and shop areas while demonstrating a personal commitment to safety. This includes but is not limited to planning for jobs and delivering instructions to the crew based on the equipment needed and customer specifications, performing behavior-based safety observations and routinely checking equipment for wear and tear that could be a hazard.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all crew members are at the rig and prepared to work at the scheduled time.
  • Determines how a service job will be performed based on specific conditions at the well site.
  • Interacts with various stakeholders in a professional and respectful manner to maintain customer satisfaction on the jobsite.
  • Evaluates the individual competency levels of direct reports, including training and mentoring on best practices in the industry.
  • Thoroughly understands and lives by all company safety and professional standards.
  • Tracks accountability and performance of crews.
  • Trains crew members to adhere to safety and company standards.
  • Identifies well-bore parameters and performs calculations.
  • Interprets and applies recommended practices to job role and operations.
  • Ensures that all equipment is loaded in preparation of jobs.
  • Supervises all rig up and rig down on location.
  • Before and after job, makes sure that all necessary equipment and maintenance supplies are accounted for and included/returned.
  • Ensures all rental equipment is returned in a timely manner.
  • Coaches and mentors Pulling Unit operators and hands.
  • Operates cement equipment as needed.
  • Supports all safe acts and stop work authority.
  • Accurately reports crew hours daily and adds/modifies staff as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Must have experience with plugging wells.
  • Must have experience with running pulling units.
  • Must have experience with running cement equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical functions
  • Previous operation and safety experience as Derrick hand or Floor hand.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check.
  • Class A (preferred).
  • Level 1 Well Control Certification (preferred)
  • Heavy travel required.
Working Conditions:
  • Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.
  • The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.
  • Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels and demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, and bright lights; and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases; and all climate types including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, etc.
  • Able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when needed.
  • React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
