Overview

A full-service tax and accounting firm in Park City, Utah, is seeking a strong Senior Tax Manager to lead its tax practice. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CPA who wants to be an integral part of their leadership team. They are looking for a full-time, fully committed individual who is ready to grow with their firm and interested in becoming a partner in their practice.

This position will involve significant client interaction, requiring you to be personable, confident, and professional. You should also possess a high level of organization, be a self-starter, and be able to work with minimal supervision. You must have a great attitude and be a model example to other staff and team members.

  • Compensation: $90k+ DOE
  • Workplace Location: Remote
  • Company Location: Park City, Utah

What You Will Do
  • Manage the preparation of business and personal tax returns from start to finish
  • Develop, motivate, and coach various team members
  • Utilize exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain strong knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
  • Provide comprehensive tax planning guidance and advice to clients
  • Research complex tax issues and develop tax planning strategies
  • Review tax returns prepared by others for accuracy and compliance
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or tax
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience in a Public Accounting setting
  • Masters in Taxation(preferred)
  • CPA certification(preferred)
  • Proficiency in Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters Suite(preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision
