This position is responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and equipment. .

Responsibilities:

·

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure successful product

development and launch. ·

Conduct feasibility studies and design trade-off analyses to ensure the optimal design solution. ·

Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures to support product development. ·

Conduct testing and analysis to verify design performance and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. ·

Provide technical support to production and customer service teams, troubleshooting production and customer issues. ·

Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and materials to continuously improve products and processes. ·

Perform other tasks as business needs dictate.

Requirements

·

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, PE or Masters a plus ·

8+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, with a focus on product design and development. ·

Strong experience in the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and equipment. ·

Expert in using SolidWorks. Certifications desired. ·

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively. ·

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. ·

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. ·

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills ·
