We are looking to hire an individual with strong analytical skills and a background in construction. This is an entry level position and training will be provided to the right candidate. Analyzes, job site, blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services, applying knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes.

Reviews data to determine equipment, material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.

Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.

General Requirements:

Pass Drug Screening

Detail Oriented

Demonstrate technical & mechanical aptitudes

Must be capable of working independently, as well as part of a team within physical and time constraints

Able to demonstrate sound judgment and good decision-making skills

Microsoft Office and Computer Skills needed

Job Type: Full-time

Basic Requirements:

· Attend pre-bid and scope clarification meetings (if needed).

· Analyze plan documents and prepare detailed estimates.

· Identify special requirements, quantify and price accordingly.

· Track and be involved in project dynamics as they relate to cost.

· Report to owner on daily progress, bid updates, and strategic project pursuits.

· Pursue and capture projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Construction experience a plus, but not required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Proficient in Oncenter Takeoff software, but not required. We will train you.

· Excellent communication skills- oral and written.

· Detailed oriented, organized, process focused, problem solver, self-motivated & proactive.

· Demonstrate a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.

· Ability to multitask and complete projects within time constraints and deadlines.

· Able to read plans or quickly learn.

· Able to do math conversions.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

8-9 hours per day as needed

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License
