We're currently seeking a **Fleet Manager** to work out of our Corporate Office, Piscataway, NJ

**Overview:**

The Fleet Manager position manages the operation and maintenance of the organization's motor vehicles.

This administrative position requires management and oversight of all components of a comprehensive fleet management program, including:

regulatory agency compliance, implementation of programs to ensure fleet maintenance and related personnel management.

In addition, the Fleet Manager will coordinate efforts across various departments including, insurance liaisons, excavation management, vehicle shop management, risk management, among them.

Essential Job Functions:

* Develop and implement vehicle maintenance programs

* Create and maintain an organized and detailed record-keeping system

* Coordinate efforts by working closely with various department leaders

* Possess a working knowledge of all related regulatory compliance requirements including, DOT Title 49, parts 382, 383 and 40.

* Coordinate the purchasing and procurement of materials and services to effectively maintain the fleet.

* Ensure all license renewal requirements are met for all drivers

**qualifications**

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years experience in Fleet Management

* Bachelors degree, preferably in management related field

* Graduate degree preferred

* Strong organizational background

* Possess a valid driver license

* Must successfully pass background and employment reference checks
