Our client, a reputable company in the mining industry, is seeking a highly motivated environmental coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of reclamation plans for land disturbed by mining operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The environmental coordinator will work closely with regulatory agencies, field crews, engineers and other divisions as needed. This position is located at the mine which is located 25 minutes outside of Bismarck, North Dakota.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Supporting the development and implementation reclamation plans for disturbed land
Coordinate with regulatory agencies, landowners, and other stakeholders
Support the monitoring of the reclamation progress and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Conduct site inspections and prepare reports
Assist in the development of budget and cost estimates for reclamation projects
Stay informed about current reclamation practices and regulations
