Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team on the first shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a sit-down forklift and will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the warehouse or facility. You will ensure the safe and efficient handling of products to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Transport pallets, products, and materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
  • Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
  • Stage products for shipment or storage, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with company policies at all times.
  • Support warehouse operations by assisting with manual tasks such as picking, packing, and general housekeeping duties when required.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Valid forklift operator certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification upon hire).
  • strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.


salary: $15 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities
