CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a Payments Manager for their Antigo or Wausau offices This individual will oversee all aspects of the credit union's automated clearing house (ACH), wire, check, and mobile deposit programs and ensures compliance with related credit union policies, Federal Reserve regulations, and NACHA rules. Job Duties

  • Maintain a team of qualified, professional individuals who consistently provide exceptional service to members.
  • Maintain and encourage an open flow of communication with employees.
  • Acquires and maintains professional skills for present and future duties.
  • Advise staff outside of the Payments department on preparing transactions for effective processing and understanding timing of when those they will be processed.
  • Learns, retains, and applies the job knowledge and skills needed to consistently perform the duties of a Payments Specialist.
  • Advise the departmental leadership in the areas of ACH/Wire/Check processing including upcoming and new regulatory processing updates.
  • Provides input to leadership as to department needs and other forward-looking information that will contribute to the long-term good of the credit union.
This individual will be required to maintain a flexible schedule to ensure exceptional service for members and support for their team. This includes participating in the departmental Saturday rotation.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' credit union experience, or equivalent related experience outside a credit union
  • Obtain an Accredited ACH Professional certification required within the first two years of employment and keep current
  • Working knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office and Windows software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
  • High regard for confidentiality
