BOSA Coastal Italian is seeking a Barback.

BOSA Coastal Italian is a restaurant concept inspired by the coastal fishing town of the same namesake, on the island of Sardinia in Italy. This first-floor waterfront restaurant features creative cuisine with the freshest local ingredients, focusing on seafood, but paying homage to owner/restaurateur Sal Lupoli by featuring his signature pizza. Classic and modern cocktails draw inspiration from Italy, along with a substantial wine and craft beer menu.

Primary responsibilities:

• Assisting bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers.
• Restocking bar supplies, such as glassware, ice, and garnishes, to maintain inventory levels.
• Cleaning and maintaining bar equipment and work areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Removing empty glasses and bottles from the bar area and clearing tables.
• Providing exceptional customer service by promptly tending to customer needs and requests.
• Collaborating with bartenders and other staff members to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Will require lifting weights up to 35 lbs. (or as per industry standards) as part of stocking and organizing bar supplies.
• Vigorous standing on feet is essential for extended periods, and the logistics of the establishment may require moving between 11 stories of the building from time to time to transport items.
• Assistance in rubbish removal as part of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

• Prior experience in a barback or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of basic beverage preparation and bar equipment is a plus.
