Senior Financial Controller
Our client, a global leader in building access control and security systems, seeks a Senior Financial Controller to coordinate financial processes for the North America Region. This individual will develop policies, systems, analysis, and solutions to support the business while ensuring compliance with Group Finance requirements and (KWS) Finance guidelines. Responsibilities include organizing financial & industrial controlling processes, treasury management, budget/forecast preparation and analysis, monitoring business financial performances, and providing timely and accurate data analytics. This role involves supporting turnaround and business transformation initiatives by establishing accurate forecasting and internal controlling routines, identifying standards/KPIs, and generating analytics to facilitate profitable growth and process efficiency. This individual is responsible for all of finance and accounting in North America, and reports to the VP of Key Systems, North America. This individual is a business partner to the Senior Management Team and has two direct reports: Industrial Controller and Cost Accounting Manager. Company uses SAP. Our client will relocate someone if they are an ideal fit.
Financial forecasting and planning
Risk management
Provide financial and controlling services, directing the preparation of forecasts, reports, and analytics.
Coordinate budget/forecast preparation and analysis, month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Monitor sales, profitability, treasury, and expense forecasts, analyzing gaps vs. Conduct data analysis by cost center/process/product, formalizing results and root-cause analytics.
Manage investment application process and monitor investment costs/results progress.
Analyze finance process efficiency and effectiveness, lead and develop the Finance Team.
Masters in Accounting or CPA preferred but not required.
At least 5+ years of experience in Financial Controlling in a complex and structured business/industrial environment, preferably international.
Accuracy, analytical thinking, IT system proficiency, business intelligence/analytics knowledge.
Strategic & operational finance know-how, governance, business intelligence & acumen, proficiency in balance sheet/cash flow analysis.
Project planning & management, problem-solving, decision-making, and flexibility.
Ability to create commitment on priorities, standards, and targets, effective communication based on facts & figures and emotional intelligence.
Strategic action planning, vision for process automation.
