Job Description:
At Supplemental Health Care we know that students come first and that our school-based Speech-Language Pathologists deserve specialized support for their careers. Currently, were hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Tacoma, Washington. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $49 - $53 an hour
- Speech Language Pathologist needed to cover maternity leaves for the first semester of the 2024-25 school year.
- Position will be 37.5 hours a week.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Masters degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelors degree
- Washington SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
- Valid or Pending ESA Certification.
