OMS (Order Management System) is the industry standard for fully integrated, end-to-end perishables order management. In 2010, iTradeNetwork was acquired by Roper Technologies (NYS: ROP) and became part of Roper's Portfolio which includes over 20 companies. Roper Technologies was founded in 1981 and is a market-driven, diversified growth company and is a constituent of the S&P 500 and Fortune 1000.
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to manage our networks both on-premise and in the cloud. To ensure success in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. ResponsibilitiesMaintaining computer networking Layers 2 through 7Managing on-premise routing, switching, and firewallsManaging cloud-based networking interconnects and securityMaintenance, configuring and installing software, routers, servers and other network devices including security patches and monitoringMonitoring network performance for all systemsTroubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to customers, employees and managementParticipating in an on-duty schedule with other team members to provide third-tier support and recommend corrective proceduresResident subject matter expert on security and networking best practicesSkills/QualificationsMinimum of 8 years experience, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining a secure network infrastructureStrong experience with routing and switching platforms and associated protocols (OSPF, BGP, VPN’s)Managing and maintaining a production environmentExperience with multi-vendor networks, including Cisco, Arista, and F5Experience with cloud networking, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with firewalls and security gateways
EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Additional RequirementsMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust be able to travel quarterly to data centersMust have unrestricted ability to work in the United States
