About the team:
The Product Management team’s role is to drive the successful development, delivery, and management of a product proposition throughout its lifecycle. The Product Management team plays a central role in aligning the product with customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
The successful candidate will drive the creation of a defined Product Value Proposition working collaboratively across a cross-functional team, becoming a single point of UK product ownership. They should also be confident in translating customer needs into clearly defined product requirements and champion the UK voice of customer within BDR Thermea Group.
About the role:
As the Product Manager for Heat Networks, your role will be challenging and varied, with no two projects ever being the same. You’ll get to interact and engage with a range of people operating at various stages of the project lifecycle to gain clarity and commercial insights that will help to affirm the commercial decision-making processes and drive the success of the project.
● Build deep relationships with the allocated Business Development Unit. Work with a cross-functional team to ensure UK market needs - regulations, voice of customer, competitive benchmarking, and UK use cases - are understood and incorporated into NPD Detailed Product Requests.
● Identify new ways to create long term value through new technologies, product offerings and services
● Own the UK product roadmap, including phase-in/phase-out planning, ensuring alignment across segments
● Collaborate with BDUs to ensure successful local Product introductions and market cessations
● Manage the performance of your product category in line with defined KPI’s and business goals. Working with stakeholders to align short and long term strategies to ensure product success.

Pro-active and self-motivating; able to work independently with limited guidance from your line manager.
Experience we’re looking for:
Excellent communication and influencing skills
> 3 years’ Product Management experience within Manufacturing organisations
Degree level in commercial, technical or marketing
Experience of business strategy development and planning
Project Management
Extensive knowledge of the HVAC industry
