We value both heart and head, the diversity of our people, and their experiences because that is how we continue to grow as a leader in our industry and expand our individual and collective potential./ph2Responsibilities/h2pstrongBelow is a general breakdown of the tasking and time required:/strong/pullistrong60% -/strong Responsible for maintaining NV5 Geospatial owned, leased and operated aircraft and maintains aircraft in airworthy condition ulliWork with the Director of Maintenance to track and schedule maintenance on aircraft/liliReview and update tracking software as necessary./liliOversee vendor compliance during outsourced inspections/liliCoordinate scheduled/unscheduled maintenance away from base/liliMaintain up to date aircraft records (logbooks, ADs, inspection reports and e-records)/liliPerform all work in accordance with approved FAA data/li/ul/lilistrong10% -/strong Assist in the installation and removal of sensor equipment ulliAssist in maintaining avionics downloads for charts services/liliAssist in moving the aircraft in and out of hangar and the fueling operations of aircraft with the line technicians and pilots/li/ul/lilistrong10% -/strong Understand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business ulliParticipates in continuing education to maintain licensing requirements/liliWork with the pilots to create and maintain the highest level of safety/li/ul/lilistrong10% -/strong Manage a spare parts inventory ulliMaintain all ground support equipment/liliAssist other Flight Department personnel with maintaining and cleaning aviation facilities to include the hangar, offices and grounds/li/ul/lilistrong5% -/strong Supervise vendor compliance including outsourced maintenance. ulliMovement of the aircraft in and out of the hangars/liliReporting of aircraft, company reports and project status/li/ul/lilistrong5% -/strong Manage FAA record compliance ulliUnderstand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business/li/ul/li/ulh2Qualifications/h2pstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School diploma or the equivalent/lili3+ years progressive experience as an AP Maintenance Technician with an Inspection Authorization, or related experience/liliValid drivers license/li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliAssociate or bachelors degree/liliCessna Caravan, Conquest, or King Air experience/liliFormal manufacture training/li/ulpstrongRequired Skills:/strong/pulliAttention to detail/liliSelf-motivated, ability to successfully work independently to problem-solve/liliAbility to collaborate, clearly communicate and present accurate, timely information/liliAbility to work as part of a team or independently/liliExcellent mechanical and Avionics troubleshooting skills/liliComputer literate with the ability to learn new software applications/liliAbility to work under pressure and be adaptable to change/li/ulpstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/pulliDrive aircraft tug and other ground service equipment/liliWithstand seasonal flight operations including exposure to the cold and heat/liliAbility to lift to 50 lbs/liliTravel required: may travel up to 50% of the time to support remote operations/li/ulpNV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities./ppEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening./ppNV5 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
