Description

Maintain adequate and accurate inventory of the supply room and maintenance warehouse. Supervise part room clerks and, schedule planned maintenance. Order parts, key in requisitions and invoices, turn requisitions into po's and send to suppliers for orders. Oversee Hazardous waste and Universal waste. Ship out UPS, FedEx, or freight as needed. Deal with vendors and sales representatives getting quotes and setting up new parts. Scan paper work to Accounting. Assist in ensuring food-safe, high quality products are produced that meet or exceed all regulatory and legal requirements. Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

Requirements

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Source/purchase parts & supplies
  • Keep an accurate, viable inventory in CMMS; maintain all work records
  • Direct & train parts clerks
  • Direct & train maintenance personnel in CMMS systems
  • Schedule & coordinate parts for planned maintenance
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in an operations facility
  • Understand plant processes and functions
  • Efficient in basic math
  • Possess basic computer/typing skills
  • Able to work well without supervision
  • Able to work the weekends and follow the work schedule to support the maintenance team
Communication Skill Requirements:
  • Effective written and oral communication.
