The Spire Hospitality Treasury Manager will:
•Oversee, mentor and develop team of treasury and cash analysts
•Manage all aspects of treasury operations, including cash management, cash forecasting, daily balance monitoring, and intercompany transactions.
•Administer bank account operations, including opening and closing bank and merchant accounts across a network of over 100+ accounts, ensuring optimal financial management.
•Coordinate ACH and wire transactions to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
•Oversee cash availability and requirements process, strategically managing vendor payments to optimize working capital.
•Own and enhance reporting of cash forecasts and cash flows, identifying opportunities and insights into financial status and trends.
•Prepare and present detailed treasury reports to senior management.
•Develop and implement effective treasury policies and scalable procedures and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard company assets.
•Collaborate with other departments to integrate treasury operations with overall company processes and objectives.
•Ensure all staff have appropriate access with established entitlements
•Perform account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
•Drive global banking relationships and system enhancements
•Perform ad-hoc Treasury projects as needed
Experience:
5+ years of experience in treasury and cash management for a hotel management company required
Credit card management experience, with exposure setups for processing
Bachelor's degree in a finance, accounting, or related field
Proficient in implementing, managing, and maintaining treasury services (i.e., file transmissions, fraud prevention tools, reporting, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Ability to multi-task
Strong training and team-building skills
Solid time management skills
Sense of urgency to meet critical deadlines
Excellent written and verbal skills
Energetic and Self-motivated
Positive can-do attitude
High level of integrity
