Job Summary We are seeking a Line Cook to join the team at our cloud kitchen restaurant in Wynwood. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. We seek a dependable professional with a strong work ethic, capable of managing the kitchen's opening and closing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons. If you have a passion for creating meals that "wow," we want to hear from you. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for strict adherence to recipe standards. The Line Cook is committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift and prepares food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs with further direction from Management. The Line Cook is also responsible for knowing the food hierarchy in the storage of products in the walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer, and also keeping the dry storage organized. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing fresh, delicious food that looks great too. Duties And Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking meals according to the menu and customer preferences Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meet the kitchen's standards Properly handling and storing food ingredients Adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations Collaborating with other staff members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Open the kitchen/restaurant, check the cleanliness, turn on food heaters, fryer and cooking station. Prepare food (wash, chop, marinade etc), label and get everything ready for service when the first order comes in. Close the kitchen/restaurant, everything should be washed, cleaned and inspected. Take out the trash, turn off the ovens, fryer, stove, all hot surfaces. Turn off lights. Sanitize all surfaces. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times Handle kitchen equipment and tools with care Report any issues or concerns promptly to the chef and manager Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure Excellent time management skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 pounds Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
