SUMMARY
Seeking a Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to work in a fast paced and flexible environment for a growing Electro-Mechanical contract manufacturer. Candidate will work with customers to define and develop automation systems and sub-assemblies, layouts, and processes in the industrial automation space.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Research, design, and management of automation systems and sub-assemblies
* Interfacing with customers to develop drawings and BOMs and design for a variety of needs using CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.)
* Work with suppliers to source parts through design process
* Improving existing processes through layout, materials and information flow, and machine placement
* Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes
* Work with Manufacturing Personnel to continuously improve processes during new or existing builds
