Req ID:439395 TVC Pro-Driver is a member of the Love’s Family of Companies and is a commercial driver’s license (CDL) protection subscription service with more than thirty-five years of experience assisting individual drivers and fleets in reducing or dismissing fines, preventing downtime for court and protecting compliance, safety and accountability (CSA) scores.BASIC PURPOSE:The Field Sales Associate is a representative of the TVC Brand and will be a brand ambassador inside the truck stops providing membership opportunities to drivers as they conduct their daily business.REPORTING LINE:The Field Sales Associate will report directly to the Field Sales Manager. The Field Sales Associate is not a supervisory-level position.JOB FUNCTIONS:Includes duties that the employee must be able to perform, either unaided or with the assistance of a “reasonable accommodation.”Maintain a presence with customersQuickly identify client needs as they walk into the truck stop, give a quick presentation while suggesting product/service features and benefits, quote prices, and closeMeet or exceed monthly sales quota of 15 TVC memberships and fuel card offeringsResolve customer inquiries and complaints by providing exceptional service to both customers/prospectsWork with sales leadership to determine necessary strategic changes All other duties as assigned and requiredQUALIFICATIONS: Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma (or GED) requiredProfessional ExperiencePrevious sales experience a plusKnowledge of trucking industry a plusLicenses, Certificates, Credentials, and Other RequirementsExperience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPointSkill SetsHighly self-motivated and results orientedAbility to perform in high-energy, dynamic, and team-oriented sales environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to: Stand, walk, sit for long periods of time, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and/or ladders, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.EnvironmentalPosition will be assigned to an office work environmentEmployee will be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (including occasional visits to field work sites, if applicable).The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.ScheduleHours assigned by Field Sales Manager not to exceed 30 hours per weekLocationThe location assignment is remote assigned by the managerThis location is subject to change and/or the position may be required to operate in additional locations.Job Function(s):Corporate Love’s Travel Stops is the nation’s industry-leading travel stop network.
