Shift: 8a-5p EST
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr on W2
Need: Experience with high Volume Inbound/outbound calls and Medical terminology.

Job Description:
Position Purpose:
Supports administrative care management activities including performing outreach, answering inbound calls, and scheduling services. Serves as a point of contact to members, providers, and staff to resolve issues and documents member records in accordance with current state and regulatory guidelines.

Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):
* Assist in activities related to the medical and psychological aspects of utilization and coordinated care
* Outreach attempts via telephone to members assigned each day
* Consistently updating an excel spreadsheet with member assignments listed
* Consistent communication with supervisor
* With each phone call- documentation is required in Virtual Health
Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:
* Must be able to make high volume of outbound calls
* Medical terminology
* Reliable home internet is required with dedicated work space due to HIPPA (Hardwire internet connection) - Please put on Resume.
* Completing 80-120 phone calls a day to the Medicare Population
* Compliance is required to be 100% of all assigned members
* Engagement Rate will need to be at 80% or more a month
* Time off is not permitted in the first 90 days of employment unless pre-planned during the interview
* Audit score of a minimum of 90%
* Completion of 600 members a month is required (30 new members daily assigned)

Tell me about what their first day looks like:
* The candidate is given a meeting invite with the IT department to ensure all equipment and systems are up and running 100%. Once the meeting is completed then the temp associate will be completing all required trainings assigned to them by the supervisor. The trainings will take the entire first week to complete. Once all trainings are completed, then training for the actual job role will take place.

Required Skills/Experience:
2-3 years managed care setting, medical office or facility setting with demonstration of medical administration duties
Thorough knowledge of customer service, utilization review or claims processing practices in a managed care environment.
Operation of office equipment such as a personal computer

Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Communication skills required
Knowledge of medical terminology
Time management & organizational skills are a MUST

Education/Experience:
Requires a High School diploma or GED
Requires 1 - 2 years of related experienceProvides outreach to members via phone to support with care plan next steps, community or health plan resources, questions or concerns related to scheduling and ongoing education for both the member and provider throughout care/service

Education Requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent

Provides support to members to connect them to other health plan and community resources to ensure they are receiving high-quality customer care/service

May apply working knowledge of assigned health plan(s) activities and resources

Serves as the front-line support on various member and/or provider inquiries, requests, or concerns which may include explaining care plan procedures, and protocols

Supports member onboarding and day-to-day administrative duties including sending out welcome letters, related correspondence, and program educational materials to assist in the facilitation of a successful member/provider relationship

Documents and maintains non-clinical member records to ensure standards of practice and policies are in accordance with state and regulatory requirements and provide to providers as needed

Knowledge of existing benefits and resources locally and make referrals to address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) needs
Performs other duties as assigned

Complies with all policies and standards
