divh2Accounts Receivable Specialist/h2pMoore Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its Charlotte, NC office. This full-time position, on our Accounting team, provides support to attorneys and administrators regarding accounts receivables./ppstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/pulliProcesses client payments to include checks, wires, ACH, credit card payments throughout the day./liliPerforms data entry with high degree of accuracy in a timely manner in the collection system of record./liliAssists in monitoring and responding to internal and external information requests via shared mailbox./liliPrepares and distributes daily collections reports./liliReviews and researches short payments, duplicate payments and overpayments./liliDemonstrates initiative and follow-through./liliProvides information to clients, attorneys and administrators on an as needed basis regarding accounts receivables./liliRegular attendance in the office is required to perform essential functions of this interactive position./liliOther duties and responsibilities as assigned./li/ulpstrongQualifications Experience:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; four-year degree in Accounting or Business preferred; (will consider candidates with direct experience vs degree)./liliIntermediate to advanced MS Excel skills required./li/ulpstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/pulliThe work is primarily sedentary./liliIt requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing./liliThe work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations./liliThe work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights./li/ulpWork hours: M-F, 8:30am - 5:00pm. May need to occasionally work more than the standard 37.5 hours per week to accomplish duties of the position.
