  • Hands-On Role: The Controller will be actively involved in various aspects of financial management, including full-cycle close processes, month-end procedures, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and budgeting/forecasting.
  • Key Responsibilities: In addition to overseeing a Senior Accountant, and AP Team, the Controller will ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash balances and forecasting cash needs.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

What the company needs in a Controller:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar
  • 5+ years accounting experience
  • Manufacturing/Distribution experience
  • Intercompany transaction experience
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
