**Job Responsibilities :**

* Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed.

* Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.

* Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.

* Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.

* Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers.

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

* 6 months of practical housekeeping/janitorial experience.

* Ability to work safely with cleaning agents and perform required duties.

* Effective communication skills, including the ability to follow oral and written instruction.

* Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift objects repeatedly; must be able to lift 25lbs unassisted throughout the shift.

**Hours:**

* 7am to 3:30pm with every other weekend rotation

* 40 hours per week
