Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will support a range of IT operations, focusing on maintaining and improving our key performance indicators (KPIs). This position requires a solid technical background, a proactive approach, and a strong commitment to operational excellence under the guidance of the IT Manager.

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Diploma with extensive experience and commensurate skills can be considered.
• Experience in an IT support or engineering role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:

Assist in daily IT operations, ensuring effective performance and reliability.
Contribute to tasks and projects that align with IT KPIs.

KPI Support:
Assist in monitoring and supporting IT KPIs as per the department's goals.
Contribute to identifying areas for improvement and support in implementing solutions.

Technical Assistance:
Provide technical support for IT systems, resolving issues to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in IT system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Security and Compliance:
Support IT security measures and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Assist in routine security checks and compliance audits.

Project Involvement:
Participate in IT projects, supporting project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver tasks efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting:
Assist in documenting IT processes and maintaining records.
Provide regular reports to the IT Manager on task progress and challenges.

Tasks:

System Monitoring:
Monitor IT systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Report any anomalies or issues promptly to the IT Manager.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with various IT teams for cross-functional tasks.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to team discussions.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies.
Suggest improvements and participate in training programs as required.

Emergency and Backup Support:
Assist in emergency IT situations and backup operations.
Support in implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
