JobsRUs.comis seeking to hire a Mechanical Engineering for our client in Canaan, CTBenefits AvailableWeekly Pay40.54 Per HourDescriptionEDUCATIONMinimum EducationThis position has the following minimum educational requirements:High School Diploma GED RequiredAssociates Degree RequiredBA BS Degree Preferred Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferredIn lieu of BA BS degree, 10 years of Technical or Manufacturing experience required2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferredThis role will master the Production Technology and Maintenance Techniques being responsible forLoss , Investigation and ResolutionDevelopment of Maintenance standardsImplementation of basic maintenance processes for the designated product linesBuilding maintenance skills for the operatorsExecution of maintenance activities in the line (planned/ unplanned when available)Ensures compliance with quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and safety regulations, policies and proceduresRegular, punctual attendance is an essential job functionAbility to read and write and converse in EnglishWilling and able to uphold Values.Responsibilities include but are not limited toLoss Investigation and ResolutionAttend Tier 1 and Production Analysis Board meetings providing engineering status of line and agree resource deployment and timings to close losses.Resolve repeat loss issues using systematic problem solving techniques to determine root cause.Support Shift Technicians in Investigation of losses to ensure countermeasure is effective.Coach Technicians and Operators in quality and effectiveness of problem-solving tools and robustness of countermeasuresSupport all CI projects validations as required to help improve equipment reliabilityDevelopment of Maintenance standardsEngage with Operators and Technicians to effectively use Daily Task Maintenance and Planned and Preventative Maintenance to increase OEE and safety performanceProvide details to improve Maintenance Standards and execution Frequency, Breakdowns and Repairs to Reliability Leader based on problem solving outcomes and DTM PPM activityCoaching on continuous improvement methodologies and toolsImplementation of basic maintenance process and settings for the designated product line.Engage in planning process for Maintenance activities.Lead Maintenance activity for respective line in conjunction with Preventative Maintenance Leader.Maintain critical equipment settings, standards and close loop on changes made.Building maintenance skills for Technicians and Operators.Provide Training and Coaching to Operators and Technicians on DTM PPM Maintenance activities and standards.Execution of maintenance activities in the line (planned/ unplanned when available).Ensure all preventative maintenance activities are performed effectively, including opportunistic maintenance working with Preventative Maintenance Leader to plan same.Record maintenance details in full on the designated forms SAP.report and action any abnormalities observed during Daily Task Maintenance Planned Preventative Maintenance to reduce losses.Record spares used during maintenance unplanned breakdowns in line Maintenance requirements.Responsible for equipment breakdown response and escalation process in an expedient manner.Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.Development of Maintenance standards for designated manufacturing unit.Implementation of basic maintenance processes for the designated product lines.Building maintenance skills for the technicians and operators.Minimum EducationThis position has the following minimum educational requirementsHigh School DiplomaGED RequiredAssociates Degree RequiredBA BS Degree Preferred Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferredIn lieu of BA BS degree, 10 years of Technical or Manufacturing experience required2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferredMinimum Experience3 years people leading experience preferred5 years experience with high speed automated assembly and packaging equipment requiredSome PLC experience preferred but not essentialMinimum Knowledge, Skills, or AbilitiesEffective Oralwritten Communication ProficientAbility to work as part of a team Teambuilding AdvancedIndependent thinking Self Driven ProficientDecision Making Ability ProficientMachine Design ProficientTroubleshooting Problem Solving AdvancedSafety and Ergonomics Expertise BasicProject Management ProficientQuality Systems Knowledge ProficientLogistics and Planning Knowledge BasicComputer Skills Microsoft Office ProficientFinancial Acumen BD04123JD#J-18808-Ljbffr
