Position SummaryThe Project Manager is a new position that will support the principals of Precise Capital, a private investment group headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, with routine and predictable day-to-day operations and projects that pertain to private homes, investment properties, numerous vehicles, and the office. We are looking for someone who has strong mechanical skills and an engineering mindset, the type of person who has a high capacity for figuring things out and has earned a reputation as the "go-to" person for just about anything that needs to be fixed or maintained with excellence. This role will require a good amount of hands-on work and also requires travel between multiple locations, including private homes, the company office, and three hunting and cattle ranches located in Coleman/Callahan Counties (20,000 acres), Parker County (700 acres), and Fannin County (4,000 acres). An excellent driving history is important as this role will not only frequently travel between the properties, but will also be the driver for business trips and for family recreation.We are looking for strong project management experience; someone who is accustomed to using modern technology to document pertinent details on a platform that allows others visibility into status. This person will need to establish and document standard operating procedures for the many routine tasks that should be scheduled and managed on a recurring basis, so organizing information online in a system that is easy to navigate will be important.This role will have seasonal fluctuations of activity and will require occasional after hours and weekends, as well as the ability to handle unexpected events, however we also offer schedule flexibility and encourage achieving a balanced lifestyle. The person in this role will work independently much of the time to manage tasks and projects, so the role does not include a high level of socializing, yet we are looking for someone with professional communication skills as this person will represent our brand with other employees and service providers, our guests, and most importantly, our families. The position offers a competitive salary, health benefits, a vehicle or vehicle allowance, eligibility to participate in the company's 401(k) program, and eligibility for discretionary, performance-based bonuses.ResponsibilitiesOwn project-based and day-to-day maintenance and operations for private homes, investment properties, vehicles, and the company officeBe the "go-to" person for projects big and small, handling what can be handled independently, and managing service providers when neededEstablish a calendar and document standard operating procedures for all recurring and predictable maintenance tasks and maintain records of pertinent information for homes, vehicles, etc.Manage private home routine maintenance and provide basic handyman services, including managing service providers, such as plumbers, electricians, landscapers, and holiday decoratorsManage projects and oversee maintenance of equipment and land, including roads, fences, ponds, shops, wells, and landscaping at ranchesManage the maintenance and care of vehicles, including 20 road cars/trucks, side-by-sides, farm equipment, racecars, and kartsDrive team members, guests, and family members for business and recreation, including preparing the vehicle and stocking snacks and beveragesSupport principals in verifying work and keeping construction projects and other business-related projects on scheduleManage one-off projects, such as relocating the company office, assembling furniture, setting up gym equipment, etc., as they ariseBe a positive ambassador of our brand both inside and outside the company by exemplifying integrity and admirable character Education & Experience7+ years of career experience that demonstrates achievement using skills that transfer well to this jobMechanically inclined with a technical hobby is a plusSome experience as a handyman, in construction and/or as a property manager is a plusSome experience as a driver is a plusExperience maintaining precise records online in a highly organized methodAdvanced experience in project managementExperience that demonstrates the ability to interface professionally and successfully with a wide variety of stakeholders, including service providers, discerning clientele, and executives and their family members.
