Posting in multiple office locations, only hiring one Electrical Engineer, PE for one office location. Locations include San Diego, CA; Anchorage, AK; Falmouth, ME; Honolulu, HI.

This Professional Engineer (PE) position prepares design documents under general supervision. Applies a working knowledge of engineering and construction materials related to engineering evaluation and design in collaboration with lead engineers and project managers. Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to evaluate or design various project aspects commensurate with level of experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and collaborate in the preparation of engineering evaluations and design documents
Apply working knowledge of engineering and construction materials
Work independently in support of project managers
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations
Review and approve project deliverables
Communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders

Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required.
Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and international.

Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Ability to methodically perform and document engineering calculations.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements
Work predominantly in an office environment. Occasional outside work in various conditions.
See, hear and communicate with others in varying conditions using various methods.
Travel independently, an average of 25% per year, for varying periods, both domestic and international.
Lift or move up to 50 lbs. May be required to lift up to 100 lbs. over short distances.
Sit or stand for sustained period.
Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
Walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
