Odawa Casino Resort Job Description Job Title: Revenue Audit Clerk Reports To: Revenue Audit Manager Department: Revenue Audit Job Code: AUDCLK Minimum Pay Rate : $19.00 per hour Pay Grade: FIN4 Date Written: 03/20/2006 Last Update: 01/01/2024 Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Revenue Audit Manager, p erforms a variety of technical work. Conduct the daily audit of all revenue centers to assist the Revenue Audit management in the reconciliation, organization, and recapitulation of revenue obtained from casino operations. Provides support to department and casino management through the auditing functions for Odawa Casino Resort. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in providing the A ccounting department and General Manager with daily net win and reconciliation data, sufficient to post transactions to the general ledger. Review and reconcile on a daily basis the Cage paperwork. Perform daily audit of T able G ames and S lots. Examine sales tapes, balance sheets, transfers and expense support to determine daily sales transactions. Verif y transactions for revenue centers, count teams, Cage/Vault and other required areas, including coupon/complimentary usage. Correct errors and list discrepancies for adjustments in report and send to Revenue Audit manage ment and/or other personnel as directed . Conduct random and pre-established testing of transactions, scale accuracies and slot machine recordings. Assist with address inquiries directed to or from management, outside auditors, gaming commissioners, etc. , when assigned by R evenue A udit management. Maintain accurate and complete filing system. Adhere to all appropriate Tribal, federal, state and local laws and Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) regulations, as applicable. Adhere to all Revenue Audit polic ies and procedures and Title 31 policies and regulations. Greet all guests and Team Members in a friendly, open manner. Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members. Maintain knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort. Attend department meetings as directed. Attend all meetings as required. Complete all required training satisfactorily. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Work at other properties as needed. Perform all other job duties as assigned within the scope of the position . Minimum Qualifications: Must have a h igh s chool d iploma or equivalent. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have basic math skills. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical reviews and ability to interpret significant financial data relationships. Must possess a financial background that includes records management and accounting. Must have good organization and communication skills, both written and verbal. Light typing and 10-key skill experience. Working knowledge of PC operation with excellent computer skills pertaining to word processing and spreadsheet s (Excel) , as well as demonstrated ability to quickly learn and utilize specialized software packages. Knowledge and ability to interpret and evaluate internal controls. M ay be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine that the minimum qualifications are met for the position. Must be capable of effective work while being exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Requires some use of hands, wrists and fingers associated with computer use and the lifting of a maximum of fifty ( 50 ) pounds on an occasional basis. Must be flexible with shifts and days off with the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events, etc., as needed. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission , and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law . #J-18808-Ljbffr
