The renowned health system has become one of the leading healthcare providers in North Texas and houses a Level III NICU. MDMC is an inter-city hospital that sees about 1,900 annual deliveries and offers a residency program. In addition to private delivery rooms, MDMC offers private postpartum rooms with lactation support and newborn security overlooking the Dallas skyline. MDMC also hosts several monthly classes including childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and newborn care. OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. Full-time Hospitalist have the freedom to create their own schedules typically eight 24-hour shifts per month with no on-call duty or office management. Part of the OBHG leadership team, the site director reports to the Medical Director of Operations, and collaborates with the MDO to deliver excellent care, build and maintain relationships and oversee the program s financial health. Responsibilities include working five or more Hospitalist shifts each month, and traveling to address hospital and operational priorities as needed.
