Job Description

Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Process Controls Engineer for a 12 Month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions to document work.
  • Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
  • Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications
  • Job will require regulated industry experience and preferred medical device experience.
  • Self Motivation and task management is expected
  • Experience with PPAP, process validation, process development Program Management experience is an asset
  • Project is electro-mechanical with embedded software - experience in these types of projects is required.
  • Supply / Vendor Management will be a key responsibility
Job Requirements

What you need
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related subject required.
  • Master's Degree in science or engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the area of quality process working closely with external vendors procuring parts and ensuring those parts meet specifications.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in regulated environment (medical devices, automotive or aerospace) highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of pFMEA, Risk Analysis and Process Control Plans is required.
