Position Summary

This position is within Acadia, a provider of fintech solutions to Banks, Brokers, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporations and other financial services companies. Acadia is wholly owned by LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and is part of its Post Trade Solutions division.

This Integration Analyst (Cleared Workflow) role is part of Acadia's Client Operations team. The focus of the role is to expand the use of the Cleared Workflow by increasing messaging channels across the existing Acadia client community. The ideal candidate must be familiar with both Cleared Over the Counter (OTC) and Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) markets and the corresponding post-trade operational support of these transactions. In particular, the reporting that Clearing Brokers provide their clients and the associated processes supporting the margining of these transactions between Clearing Brokers and their clients.

The role is client facing and the individual should be comfortable discussing Acadia's services with client subject matter experts.

Additionally, the role will include defining the mapping of Clearing Broker statement files (or reports) into formats usable by Acadia systems. These mappings are required to normalize data that clients receive across different Clearing Brokers and help automate the agreed exchange of margin or collateral with each Clearing Broker. Once all mappings are established, validate the output and help resolve any issues with product and technology development teams as well as with the client (wherever necessary).

The ideal candidate will also have the technical and industry experience, or an aptitude to learn to efficiently manage these data mappings and help articulate product improvements where gaps are observed.

Lastly, the candidate will assist with discussions & implementations of other Acadia products related to the Cleared Workflow.
Role Responsibilities
  • Interact with clients to define requirements for mapping cleared statement files (inbound) and pledge export files (outbound) across Cleared OTC & ETD transactions and their corresponding margin requirements
  • Define mapping specifications for technology development & conduct internal testing to validate results
  • Assist with implementation of Acadia products downstream from the Cleared Workflow (e.g., statement and call issuance, agreement setup, etc.)
  • Participate in resolution of production issues related to all aspects of the Cleared Workflow
  • Use defined tools (Jira, Monday.com, etc,) for documentation and work tracking
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Experience with Cleared OTC & ETD transactions, how they are margined, and a proficient understanding of all related industry terminology
  • Ability to read and interpret Cleared OTC & ETD cleared margin call statements (or reporting)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Organized with an ability to prioritize effectively and meet established target dates
  • Familiarity with NiFi or other file transfer & modification software is a plus
