Kitchen/ Maintenance Staff

As Kitchen/Maintenance staff, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong work ethic.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and marinating meats
  • Assist with cooking tasks, such as grilling, baking, and frying
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Follow recipes and ensure that food is prepared to the highest quality standards
  • Lift heavy pots and pans, and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Lift heavy cans and other kitchen supplies as needed
  • Clean Kitchen on daily basis
  • Clean lunch room on daily basis
  • Clean rest rooms on daily basis
  • Mop floors 2x/week
  • Paint touch up as needed
  • Empty trash cans in lunch room and office
  • Vac as needed
  • Clean auction booths weekly
  • Empty soda bins as needed
  • Fill soda machine weekly
  • Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Prep Cook or similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Physical ability to lift heavy pots, pans, and cans, and stand on your feet for extended periods of time
