What You'll Do:
Lead and manage our tax department, overseeing a team of skilled professionals.
Reviewing personal, partnership and corporate tax returns.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize client financial outcomes.
Provide expert guidance on complex tax matters, keeping abreast of industry trends and regulations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and offer tailored solutions.
Drive continuous improvement within the tax department, refining processes for enhanced efficiency.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages growth and learning.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certification is required.
Proven experience (7+ years) in tax planning, preparation, and consulting.
Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication skills to work closely with clients and colleagues alike.
Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and deliverables.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in tax software and financial tools. You will be using CCH Axcess products.
