Senior Procurement Buyer . The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in direct procurement, with a focus on purchase order management, supplier relations, and inventory optimization.

Senior Procurement Buyer Responsibilities:

Lead the generation and management of purchase orders, adhering to organizational policies and procedures Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to finalize order specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines Keep abreast of market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies within the procurement space Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential new suppliers and evaluate their competitiveness Drive cost-saving initiatives while upholding quality standards across procurement processes Continuously assess existing contracts and agreements for opportunities to reduce costs Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments such as operations, finance, and project management to align procurement activities with overarching business objectives Develop and implement supplier performance metrics for ongoing assessment and monitoring Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and take corrective actions as necessary Identify and proactively mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including disruptions, quality issues, and geopolitical factors

Senior Procurement Buyer Requirements:

3+ years of proven experience in procurement roles, with a focus on indirect procurement Proficiency in utilizing Coupa or similar procurement software is highly preferred Bachelor's degree in business, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
