Responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Beacon Food & Merchandise department to ensure a positive guest experience. Responsible for providing fast, professional and courteous service to all bartenders. Must be able to help supervisors and carry product up and down the stairs from the warehouse to the bar locations in a smooth, efficient and pleasant manner. Must work rapidly and remain calm during peak periods. Must know all bar positions and where all products is housed and ready to transport any/all product at any time when asked to do so. Must also break down machinery including, but not limited to Pop corn machines, frozen drink machines, and coolers.

* The ideal candidate will prior barback experience.

* Responsible for setting up stock and maintain bar area to Beacon standards. Ensure liquor, garnish, glasses, product, etc. are properly stored and presented. Deliver and distribute ice accordingly. Break down and clean bar and bar area.

* Help maintain warehouse area according to Beacon standards by following NYC Health Code.

* Conduct physical inventory, set up/break down designated work areas and maintain product levels.

* Oversee specific sections of the theater, insuring staff and section is show ready and guests needs are met.

* Respond to all escalated guest issues and determine appropriate actions to resolve problems and/or issues in a timely manner.

* Ensure positive guest experience and commitment to MSG standards for all guests entering Beacon Theatre.

* Provide information to patrons and answer questions/inquiries regarding Beacon Theatre facility.

* Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and have a food handler permit.
