System Freight, Inc., a leader in direct-to-store deliveries and fleet outsourcing, is seeking a dedicated CDL-A Driver to enhance our transportation services. Operating out of the Northeastern United States, we pride ourselves on providing punctual and efficient transport solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients. As a CDL-A Driver, you?ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, representing our commitment to excellence on the highways and at every stop. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods to customers according to specific schedules and routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Manage route planning to ensure timely delivery, taking into account traffic and weather conditions. Maintain communication with dispatch to report any incidents or deviations from the planned route. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time, including logs for mileage and cargo. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules. Proven ability to operate a tractor-trailer or heavy truck. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, particularly with respect to safety and route planning. Physical ability to load and unload cargo if necessary.
