Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy duty work as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with guests, vendors, co-workers and management.
  • Remove dirty linen from cleaning carts or designated area and deliver to laundry as assigned
  • Clean all guest corridors, floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas as assigned
  • Remove trash from cleaning carts and deposit in dumpsters
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment
  • Dusts and polishes metalwork.
  • Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Availability on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers, coworkers, vendors and customers.
  • Must be have the ability to bend, stoop, lift and walk for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place heavy objects.
