We value talent, self-discipline, honesty, flexibility and friendliness, and treat all wins as team wins.Position OverviewThe Cell Technician is a key position within Research & Development that assists in building test cells to guide decision-making. They will be responsible for approaching cell engineering and fabrication with a high level of detail and integrity. The ideal candidate would be extremely flexible, curious, resilient, and eager to learn.Primary responsibilities:Build test batteries (target specs of mass, geometry, voltage, resistance, etc.)Assemble and disassemble electrodes and weld stacks to insert in packagingPerform specified Q/C tests using standard operating proceduresPrepare batteries for testingLog battery specifications into the databaseCommunicate issues observed with a supervisorMaintain a safe, clean and organized working environmentQualificationsMinimum Associate's Degree in a technical field with a Bachelor's preferred and/or commensurate experience2+ years of experience in fabrication of devices, preferably batteriesAbility to follow documented proceduresExperience with hand toolsExperienced with data entryProficiency in Microsoft OfficeJob Location: Culver City, CA*All hires are based upon completion and passage of a background check.The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience. $ 29.18 (entry-level qualifications) to $36.39 (highly experienced) HourlyThis is the pay range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
