DescriptionPosition Details :Title: Industrial Equipment Design EngineerLocation: Wooster OHShift: Normal M-F 9am-5pmCompensation: $100-127kBenefits: Comprehensive Corporate Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, PTO, 401k Matching, Relocation)Travel: 2-3-week installations at customer sites are rare (1 over the last two years)Position Description : Responsible for coordination and implementation of moderately complex engineering projects in accordance with company policies. Core focus will be to carry products from development through commercialization of cryogenic technologies in the food industry. Additional opportunity in gas technologies for pharmaceuticals and wastewater may also be applied. This position works under general supervision utilizing diversified procedures and standards. Evaluate projects return on investment to justify capital expendituresWork closely with OEMs on the integration of Company's Unique freezing and cooling technologyDemonstrates creativity and ingenuity in applying engineering principles and practicesDevelops, selects and implements engineering techniques and solutions to solve difficult problemsParticipates in defining engineering approaches and in planning, prioritizing and scheduling work for design teamPerforms engineering calculations for accurate sizing of customer specific cooling and freezing applications.Ensures successful completion of assigned project phases within the budgeted time and cost constraintsPrioritizes work and prepares engineering plans accuratelyReviews and checks project specific drawings and data sheets to ensure compliance with design criteria and standardsInfluences team members and promotes ideas to improve design and implantation practicesAnalyze cost and benefits of various solutions, followed by appropriate recommendationsWill lead field teams through installations, startups and issue identification, analysis and repairs related to primary skill areaInterfaces with internal and external customers/suppliersMay provide technical and engineering support to Company regionsProvides technical guidance to other professionalsDirects preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned project phases and prepares required reports and summaries to communicate project progress or resultsTravel to customer sites and equipment fabricators as requiredWork with technicians to facilitate completion of design and fabrication.Requirements:BS Degree in engineering (mechanical or Industrial preferred).A minimum of five (5) years overall experience in applications and / or design engineeringDesign & Fabrication bending of sheet metal componentsMust have proficiency in a CAD platform; strong familiarity with AutoDesk Inventor 2020 preferredGreat to have skillsets but not required:An understanding of PLC programming and ladder logic, Allen Bradley RS Logix and SiemensExperience in supervision of technical teams and projectsFamiliarity with applications in cryogenic and other relevant process industriesExperience in equipment design and manufacturingProject management experienceBackground in new equipment and applications commercializationFamiliarity of USDA, NSFAutoCad ElectricalFamiliarity with JDE, Oracle or other ERP software with respect to accounting#J-18808-Ljbffr
