About this position The CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures in an efficient, accurate manner using prescribed techniques and protocols. Produces cross-sectional images for the diagnosis of medical issues and must be able to accurately interpret physicians' instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate CT scan equipment, and position customer s appropriately. Requirements Education • Must have graduated from an accredited radiology technology school. Experience • Two+ years prior CT technologist experience. • Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependable performer. • Demonstrated ability to interact with customer s, families, guests, and all levels of team members. • Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations. • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form), clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience. • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner. Has an awareness of, responds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others. • Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations. • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards. • Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English. • Must have good cross-sectional anatomy skills. Licensure/Certification • Must be ARRT certified in CT or eligible within one year of hire. • BLS certification required. Salary Range: MG CT ($36.93 - $52.57), based on experience Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
