Job Description

Carrier Enterprise Central Plains currently has an exciting Branch Sales Associate opportunity at our Sioux Falls Location

Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a national distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. CE operates primarily in the business to business (B2B) environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver and service Carrier, Bryant Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. CE offers customers a wide range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, best in class customer service and valuable, timesaving services that positions CE as an industry leader. With over 200+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico and Canada there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs.

SUMMARY

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for promoting sales of HVAC replacement components and aftermarket products to our Dealer Network and HVAC Contractors
  • Responsible for delivering the Best Customer Experience that contributes to the Sales and Profit in your store.
  • Work with Sales Center Manager in executing corporate and local strategic programs and sales initiatives.
  • Provide superior customer service to our customers and build relationships with customers and associates.
  • Keep showroom stocked and orderly.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of sales floor and back of house areas
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Fork-lift experience
    • Products are commercial and residential HVAC parts and equipment, therefore, experience working with contractors is desired
    • A willingness to learn is a must have
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Must be team-oriented
    • Must have High School diploma or equivalent, with minimum of one-year relevant work experience
