UAT Tester

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree
7 to 10 years of experience in the financial industry or related technology or business analytics role.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience in financial services.
Proficient with systems. Strong system reporting and experience with system changes.
Experience coordinating UAT and able to write test scripts.
Experience in technology implementations, particularly developing testing processes, test scripts and user acceptance testing.
Comfortable working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent writer and strong communicator to work with senior stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

Advanced degree.
Prior experience working in a risk management-related function.
SQL and data analytics.
Experience using JIRA, Confluence or other IT project management platforms.
Experience with Agile/Scrum, database or visualization tools.

What You Will Be Doing

Independently analyze business processes and translate them into test cases and scripts.
Independently gather business/product knowledge to support the review of user stories/functional requirements.
Support the development of a holistic UAT approach to ensure user requirements have been clearly executed.
Execute and/or coordinate UAT execution based on testing scripts.
Report on UAT progress and outcomes, including developing presentations to senior stakeholders.
Review issues & gaps identified in UAT with business and technology stakeholders to bring those items to closure.
Support the preparation and review of documentation (including communications, training, user guides, etc.).
