Looking for a technical PM/ Scrum Master for our entertainment client. 100% remote (available to work on PT). Possibility to convert to perm, 6-month contract.

You will:

  • Have Experience

    • 3-5 years of multi-project management experience in a technical (SDLC) environment

    • as a Scrum Master/ Agile

    • as a Technical Project Management with video streaming technologies
  • With
    • video encoding systems, media asset management systems, media supply chain, or other video backend technologies

    • tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack

    • agile and traditional frameworks

    • road mapping, planning, Gantt as well as fostering iterative processes and feedback milestones in the SDLC

    • Basic proficiency with standard development software

    • BONUS:

      • Backend Release Deployment/Management experience via Cloud Environment such as GCP or AWS

      • with Bitbucket, GitHub and Jenkins
  • Soft Skills include:
    • BE a proactive, efficient, and resourceful communicator with the ability to thrive in a creative and deadline-driven environment

    • strong organizational skills and ability to create good team habit

responsibilities:
Looking for a technical PM to join the PMO team for Paramount+, you will:
  • be a solution provider, change agent, expert of jugglers, and keeper of the agile process for your teams.

  • have a passion for process, the candidate keeps their eyes on the delivery goal while coaching their teams and leading several distributed project teams from start to finish.

  • love the Project Manager role, working with technical backend teams, and can make things happen The candidate knows what it takes to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, bring needed process improvements, and support a diverse team of collaborators.
Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple Video Engineering scrum team workflows, task tracking, and project timelines

  • Create and run team Scrum ceremonies to increase visibility, cross-team communication, and risk mitigation

  • Coach, facilitate and maintain consistent and beneficial Agile process methodologies for the teams, driving process and transparency

  • Work:

    • with Product, Engineering and Operations stakeholders to prioritize and coordinate development efforts to deliver on schedule

    • closely with the Video Engineering teams for on-going integration and tooling projects

      • Act as a representative from the team to the program teams in support of larger company initiatives
  • Communicate with the business around teams velocity and projects health not just for your own teams but supporting the PMO in reporting on all team's status

  • Prepare and manage project plans, documentation, risk mitigation and resource management as needed for cross-team initiatives and large projects/programs

  • Be available as necessary to troubleshoot urgent issues and remove impediments for the team

  • Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
You will:
  • Have Experience

    • 3-5 years multi-project management experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven, technical (SDLC) environment.

    • as a Scrum Master with deep understanding of all things Agile ie: Scrum Kanban

    • as a Technical Project Management with video streaming technologies

    • working in Web, Platform, Operations teams in technologies such as Java, Databases, Python and others
  • With
    • video encoding systems, media asset management systems, media supply chain, or other video backend technologies

    • tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack

    • agile and traditional frameworks

    • road mapping, planning, Gantt as well as fostering iterative processes and feedback milestones in the SDLC

    • Basic proficiency with standard development software
