Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of public work high voltage electrical projects. This role includes tasks such as planning and estimating project requirements, overseeing project execution and supervision, budget and cost management, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, including the leading general contractors in the industry.
Job Tasks
· Evaluate project proposals thoroughly and craft customized bids that align with the client's specific needs, considering factors like scope, resources, timelines, and budgets.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
· Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures and resource allocation.
· Oversee the project's day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to the project plan and keeping track of milestones and deadlines.
· Manage project teams, assign responsibilities, and foster effective communication among team members.
· Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement necessary mitigation strategies.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance.
· Provide accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting the project's financial status.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, material suppliers, and other stakeholders.
· Conduct regular project meetings and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
· Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in electrical projects to provide technical guidance to the foreman/ electrical team.

Skills
· Strong understanding of high voltage electrical estimating in public works projects such as local government agencies buildings.
· Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
· Ability to work well under changing situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in using project
management/estimating
tools such as Accubid, Microsoft Project and Excel.
· Ability to work independently and collaborative with a variety of teams.
Experience and Education
· Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
· 4+ years of proven track record of successfully
managing
high voltage projects.
· 4+ years of significant experience in
estimating
high voltage projects.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Job Type

· Travel required as needed (job site visits)
