Summary: Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Position Description: Cardiovascular Interventional Tech The Cardiovascular Interventional Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants) Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure On Call for Emergent Procedures Minimum Qualifications (May qualify 1 of 5 ways): 1) Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR 2) Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR 3) Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR 4) 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR 5) RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education Required: Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association only) Benefits: Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) Paid time off Tuition reimbursement 401k match and additional yearly contribution Yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus Community discounts and more Facility: BayCare Health System, Cardiac Cath Lab-MPH Location: Morton Plant Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: Varies Shift: Shift 4 Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies Weekend Work: None On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely?
