Overview:

MSA has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer II - Public Works at our Duluth, MN office location. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities:

The work you will do

  • Client relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients
  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
  • Design and administration of construction on infrastructure projects
  • Project experience in potable water, storm water and wastewater projects among more
  • Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
  • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects


Qualifications:

What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required
  • 1+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required
  • EIT required, willingness to obtain PE in the future preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations and requirements within Minnesota preferred
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
