What You'll Do

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources (HR) team to continue building and creating an engaging environment where employees thrive, collaboration prevails, and performance excels, making Spotter the best place to work Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Senior HRBP will work cross-functionally to develop, execute and manage various HR frameworks and programs focused on performance management, learning & development, employee onboarding/engagement along with various other human resources programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, fostering a positive work culture, and supporting the overall success of the organization. As a Senior HBRP, you will serve as a trusted advisor to both management and employees, contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. Position is based in Culver City.

The Senior HRBP will primarily be responsible for:

Performance Management Administer the end-to-end performance management process, including 360•performance reviews, giving and receiving feedback training sessions, post-process data/metrics. Collaborate with managers to ensure performance expectations align with organizational objectives and goals. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Learning & Development Responsible for identifying and assessing training program needs for all levels of the organization, determining viable vendors (if necessary) or designing and developing new training courses as needed. Partner with managers on long-term development and performance strategies, helping to define expectations and instill accountability. Proactively connect with managers to understand their teams' development needs and provide suggestions for continued improvement and advancement. Assess employee training and development needs based on business strategy in order to help close gaps between current and future skills.

Miscellaneous Projects Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements, provide recommendations for improvement and execute. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and processes, ensuring consistency across the organization. Influence business and talent initiatives that support our short and long-term business goals, including driving practices that enable high performance and operational excellence. Recommend, develop, and implement new HR processes as required to grow the business. Act as an executive coach when needed; hold a high bar for leadership values and behaviors. Influence and/or deploy practices to increase employee engagement and satisfaction. Perform other projects as required from time to time as assigned.

Who You Are Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required (e.g., Industrial & Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Psychology, Business, etc.) preferred. 8+ years of experience working as a Human Resources Business Partner with an ability to translate business needs into HR solutions that drive engagement and performance. SHRM, PHR or SPHR Certified is a plus. Experience building and executing HR programs (i.e. feedback, performance management, culture surveys). Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company preferred. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to frequent change with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Entrepreneurial spirit and a track record of taking initiative with excellent project management skills. An effective communicator and natural relationship-builder who can collaborate with and influence a variety of work styles and personalities. Able to easily build credibility with senior leaders. Operates at the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality and personal integrity. A self-motivated team player who works cross-functionally, acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Detailed, organized and communicative and thrives in a multi-tasking, hands-on collaborative environment. Task and goal-oriented, capable of functioning in a corporate setting.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $100K-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
