Senior Compensation Analyst
Are you a seasoned Compensation Analyst looking for a challenging opportunity in the heart of Chicago? Winston has an exciting position available at a prestigious medical center, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing compensation programs. If you have a passion for analyzing data, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring fair and competitive pay practices, please apply.
As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and communicating the organization's compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance, ensuring that pay practices align with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a subject matter expert on larger compensation initiatives, driving enhancements and changes to programs and policies.
· Conduct comprehensive job evaluation analyses and equity assessments, providing written recommendations based on thorough analysis and budgetary considerations.
· Partner with HR to consult on departmental requests, fostering alignment and synergy across the hospital system.
· Lead large-scale market studies, proposing cost-effective solutions and assisting in resolving complex compensation issues.
· Manage salary surveys, analyze benchmark data, and update salary structures as needed.
· Collaborate with HRIS to ensure accurate compensation data management and act as a subject matter expert on system implementations.
· Facilitate the annual performance evaluation and merit increase process, coordinating data flow and ensuring compliance with HR standards.
· Provide expert guidance to management on pay decisions and compensation policies, conducting training for people managers as needed.
· Review and recommend changes to compensation policies and procedures, with a focus on process automation.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management, or related discipline.
· Five years of progressive experience in Compensation or related field, with strong statistical analysis skills.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and HRIS systems.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.
· High level of agility and urgency in addressing client and executive needs.
· Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
